For cyclists of all levels, the Meuse Cycle Route follows one of the most important rivers in Europe.

From the plateau of Langres to the town of Hoek van Holland, you may discover the Meuse as you have never seen it before. Go ahead, step on your bike and discover 3 countries (France, Belgium and Netherlands), by cycling over 1152 kilometers of marked roads and 30 stages, which will take you through the many towns and villages spread out along the cycling route.

In the 1930s, smuggling was rampant in the area. and Hamont -Achel and Cranendonck, on the border between the Netherlands and belgiim, were no exceptions. The muggler's route is a 44 - kilometre bicycle trail that follws the node network and can be cycled in two directions.

The mountain bike route starts either at the Mine stadium in Beringen or at be-MINE at the foot of the slag heap. This black circuit covers 42 km. On the mountain bike trail on the slag heap, competent mountain bikers can choose between 2 routes. There are technical hurdles, such as rocks, plus a skill park with North Shores, dirts and drops
