Any Way the Wind Blows - Aerial Festival
Jump, fall, move, or propel yourself through this colorful art route throughout the entire Energy Building.
What to expect? Well, a lot! From colorful bouncy castles designed by well-known, international artists to a machine that mimics wind currents. From giant, inflatable sculptures to an endless moshpit on the roof. You can throw kites or make your own. Need inspiration? You'll find it at 30 crazy kites designed by different artists: play, jump, blow, fly and experience (visual) art in an atypical and interactive way this summer at C-mine!
The festival showcases the work of both national and international luminaries: Cyril Lancelin (FR), Kamiel de Waal (BE), 019 (BE), Haseeb Ahmed (US), Loulou João (BE/DRC), Dennis Tyfus (BE), Sharon Van Overmeiren (BE), Shirley Villavicencio Pizango (BE/PE), Winnie Claessens (BE), Plastique Fantastique (IT/KR), The RedBall project (USA), Kasper De Vos (BE), Karina Beumer (NL), Ada Güvenir (BE/TR) and Lotte Vrancken (BE).
Schools and clubs
From June 29 to September 15, 2024, the general public is invited to experience the enchanting atmosphere of 'Any Way the Wind Blows.' But here's the exciting part: From June 14 to June 21, 2024, we're offering an exclusive opportunity for schools and clubs to be the first to immerse themselves in our aerial festival. Gather your schoolmates, classmates, club members, or association fellows and brace yourselves for an unforgettable experience at this grand arts festival, where creativity takes flight alongside the winds of imagination.
